Fight Compo Cuts
The O’Farrell Government is proposing a savage attack on workers compensation benefits and injured workers.
Construction workers know how dangerous our industry is and how common injury and sadly workplace deaths are.
We must oppose any cuts to workers compensation benefits. To do so we need your help.
The O’Farrell Government is proposing:
- Reducing weekly benefits
- Reducing access to lump sum compensation.
- Abolishing workers compensation cover for injuries and death that occur travelling and to and from work (journey cover), this will also mean families whose loved ones are killed travelling to a from work would not receive any compensation.
We must oppose these cuts!
Phone our workers compensation department for more information or to take part in this campaign. We need your stories!
