The CFMEU is the largest and most powerful trade union representing construction workers in Australia.

It has members on all major building projects and most civil construction projects across the country, together with members working off-site.

Members working under union negotiated enterprise bargaining agreements (EBA’s) receive substantially better pay and benefits than non-unionists. If you are a worker not receiving these benefits you need to join the union and assist us in achieving better standards for all.

The union also employs specialist staff to provide assistance and advice where it’s needed – whether you need an organiser on site, industrial representation in court, legal advice or a visit from the OH&S Officer, as well as a whole range of other benefits and services.
