Welcome the new website

Welcome the new website. We've spent the past few months drastically improving it so our members, users and the general public have a superior experience. Now when members go online, they’ll be able to find exactly what they’re looking for easily, quickly, efficiently.

New Website; New Direction

For a long time our old website was full of information but hard to navigate. Not anymore. We've streamlined the process so you don't have to.

We’ve condensed the menu sections, removed out-dated material, provided new, fresher content or updated existing and just generally made life easier for all.

Seven easy sections to navigate:

  • Your Union
  • Member Services
  • OHS
  • Training
  • News
  • Campaigns
  • Downloads

There is a ‘Shop’ component with that feature coming soon.

New members can join online by simply clicking on the ‘Join Today’ while existing members can select the ‘Pay Your Dues’ button.

We have extra features like ‘Safety Zone’ which issues alerts or incidents. You’ll also find direct links to our Facebook page, Twitter account and YouTube channel. Go there to stay connected and see what else is happening.

The ‘news’ section or homepage will be updated regularly as things come to hand. If it’s making news and affects our members, you’ll be the first to know. You can even leave a comment on any of the news articles.

Suggestions

Of course the new site is a big improvement on the old site but there's always room for further development. So if you've got some great suggestions on how we can continue to improve on it and provide you with a better, easier more navigable and user friendly experience, then please drop us a line (that can be found at the very top of the screen).

After all, it's you the members who we built this new site for. So don't be shy. Any suggestion that makes it easier and a better experience for all is what we'd love to hear.
